Rates
User groups
You can setup individual time/traffic rates for customer group (guests, students, VIPs, etc.).
Rates properties

- name on receipt, if different from the base name
- taxing value and type: included in or excluded from the price
- time zones with individual prices for each zone
- minimal charge
- test your pricing
Customer default rates
You can assign the default rates to any customer:
If no rates are assigned, an operator selects the rates starting a session in TrueCafe Administrator, or a customer selects the rates when he/she logs in:
Only the "Public" rates are available for selecting from TrueCafe Client log in screen.
Terminal rates
You can use the terminal-dependent rates feature if you need to change your base rate depending on the terminal type, e.g. general Internet terminal or fast gaming terminal.
Use the terminal settings to specify the price coeff of a terminal. Price coeff = 1 by default, which means the base pricing isn't changed for the terminal.
For example, if your basic rate is $5 per hour and the price rate of a terminal is 1.2, a customer is charged $5 * 1.2 = $6 per hour.
Discounts
You can use discounts to lower the default rates.
TrueCafe supports two discount types
- total - decreases the price of any service
- service specific - decreases the price of the specified services only
Public services
A service marked as "Public", such as printing, scanning, etc., can be added to a customer session (terminal popup menu, the "Sell" item):
